Dutch bestselling author Heleen van Royen is staying at the W hotel in Chicago when she decides she wants some male company. She presses the whatever-you-want-button in her room, but gets no for an answer.
'Why not? This is America. The land of instant gratification.'
Utterly frustrated she continues her quest in Amsterdam, her hometown, where ordering sex allegedly is as easy as ordering pizza or a pound of weed. To her great indignation even the city that is supposed to be as liberal as San Francisco lets her down.
'I’m on to a scandal here. This is news, an outrage! There are no decent gigolos to be had in Amsterdam!
When Heleen finally finds a professional who is prepared to do the honors, things don't go exactly as planned... |
